A New Jersey judge is weighing a dispute between two cannabis cultivators over control of a New Jersey medical marijuana production facility.

MPX New Jersey claims in court papers that a business partner, iAnthus Capital Management, has “hijacked” control of a facility approved for marijuana cultivation in Pleasantville. IAnthus allegedly set off the dispute when it attempted to negotiate an agreement with city officials in Pleasantville on behalf of MPX. New Jersey is seeking a declaratory judgment that iAnthus has no authority to act on behalf of MPX New Jersey.
