For the 15th consecutive year, Greenberg Traurig supported Family Promise of Morris County, donating to its "Fulfilling the Promise" campaign launched in fall 2020. The campaign addresses the housing crisis, which is further exasperated by the impacts of COVID-19. "It is an honor to support charitable organizations that make a real difference in the lives of many New Jersey residents. This year has been particularly challenging for people who are ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) and homeless," said New Jersey partner Barry J. Schindler, chair of Greenberg Traurig's global patent prosecution group and chairperson of FPMC's corporate leadership council, in a statement. "I am proud that Greenberg Traurig donated funds that will help those who are experiencing a housing crisis secure safe housing, food, cleaning supplies, PPE, and other basic necessities." Joann Bjornson, a licensed social worker and chief executive officer of FPMC, in a statement: "Partnering with Greenberg Traurig for the last 15 years has allowed Family Promise of Morris County to grow the scope of its programs and services, and populations served." Greenberg Traurig's New Jersey office has helped sponsor and support FPMC's activities through legal assistance, group service projects, jeans days and donation drives. In addition to Schindler, Suzanne Brady, a litigation practice administrative assistant in the firm's Morristown, serves on FPMC's board.
