On Feb. 25, Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath business litigation partner Tracey Salmon-Smith moderated a panel for the ABA Litigation Section roundtable: ”Mediation: In the Land of Zoom.” The panel consisted of independent mediator and retired Chief Judge Gerald Rosen of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. The program examined overall trends and conditions in virtual mediations, among other topics. Salmon-Smith, based in Florham Park, serves as a coordinator for the ABA Litigation Section’s Leadership Development, and is a member of the Minority Trial Lawyer and Women Advocate committees. Her private practice focuses on assisting clients with commercial and business disputes, employment litigation, securities law and internal investigations.

Hill Wallack Managing Partner Becomes President-Elect of Mercer Bar

Hill Wallack Managing Partner Installed as President-Elect of Mercer County Bar Association Michael Kahme

Michael Kahme, managing partner of Hill Wallack in Princeton, was installed as president-elect of the Mercer County Bar Association for a one-year term on Jan. 21 in a virtual ceremony. Kahme has been active with MCBA since 1985, beginning with his service as a member of the Young Lawyers Committee. He also served as a trustee from 2010–2016, and began his track to the presidency in 2018 when he became secretary. He said in a statement that he looks forward to partnering with president Tanya Phillips, adding, “More than ever, in the present circumstances, our members are immense resources for one another in determining how to address some of the challenges that our clients, and we as professionals are facing, and the Association provides the support our members need to strengthen their practices.” He is a member of Hill Wallack’s creditors’ rights & bankruptcy and corporate law practice groups.
