The vaccine roll-out has been slow and difficult. Every day, people post on social media their success in getting a dose of the vaccine or their frustration at being unable to make an appointment.

As of March 15, in New Jersey, only Phases 1A and 1B are eligible to receive the vaccine, and this group is limited to health-care workers, first responders, those living in assisted living facilities, those over the age of 65, individuals 16-64 years old with specified underlying medical conditions, public and local transportation workers, public safety workers, migrant farm workers, pre-K to grade 12 educators and staff, child-care workers in licensed settings, members of tribal communities, and individuals experiencing homelessness or living in shelters.
