The latest issue of The Legal Eagle, a New Jersey State Bar Foundation (NJSBF) publication for students, features articles on the antitrust lawsuits against Google and Facebook, media literacy and whistleblowing.

The article "Tech Companies Under Fire for Anticompetitive Practices," raises the question of what happens when a company, such as Google or Facebook, becomes too dominant. It also discusses the Sherman Antitrust Act and the lawsuits brought against the tech companies.

"Combatting 'Fake News' With Literacy" discusses efforts to teach media literacy and the challenges involved. The issue concludes with two articles on whistleblowing, including a historical look at laws enacted to protect whistleblowers and a piece about two famous cases involving whistleblowers, which were made into the movies "Serpico" and "Silkwood."
