Rottenberg Lipman Rich announced that Mark S. Helweil, of counsel to the firm for 27 years, has become a partner. Helweil will lead the matrimonial and family law practice with partner Stacy L. Ceslowitz. The firm has offices in New York City and Saddle Brook.

Helweil has some 35 years of experience practicing matrimonial and family law, including favorable decisions in equitable distribution, child support, spousal maintenance, and child custody cases, the firm said. He also handles appeals, including successfully arguing child support case Bast v. Rossoff at the New York Court of Appeals. He graduated from the University of Florida with a B.A. in 1977 and received his J.D. from the American University Law School in 1980.
