With 67 vacancies—or one out of every five trial bench positions currently open—the chief justice of the New Jersey Supreme Court painted a picture of what this will mean to litigants and lawyers as the state and the courts reopen.
His message: It’s going to get ugly real soon if he doesn’t get some judges.
