A dark cloud that hung over New Jersey for 15 months was lifted Friday with a stroke of a pen.
Three days after being introduced in the Legislature, Gov. Phil Murphy signed A-5820/S-3866, along with a new executive order—Executive Order 244—to end the state's Public Health Emergency Declaration that's been in place since March 9, 2020.
