Lawyers at Littler Mendelson on Monday removed a lawsuit against Heartland Employment Services LLC, HCR Healthcare LLC, and other defendants to New Jersey District Court. The suit, for alleged breaches of the Family and Medical Leave Act, was filed by Daniel T. Silverman of Costello & Mains on behalf of Derrick Henry II, who alleges that he was fired for taking paternity leave to be with his newborn son. The case is 1:21-cv-12242, Henry v. Heartland Employment Services LLC et al.
