Two women and a minor child who were injured in a head-on crash have agreed to a $3.175 million settlement in their Middlesex County auto negligence suit, Adly v. Grieco. The settlement was approved last September.

Lidia Adly was driving south on Route 34 in Marlboro on March 1, 2017, with her mother, Odette Hanna, in the front passenger seat and her minor daughter, Julia Adly, in the rear seat. Their car had a severe, head-on collision when a northbound car driven by Victoria Vitale made a left turn in front of them. Adly's car was then left inoperable in the southbound lane, where it was struck by another southbound car driven by Tracy Greico.

Adly suffered severe injuries of the spine and knees and underwent multiple knee surgeries. Hanna sustained injuries to her left foot and ankle, both arms, neck, back, sternum and right clavicle, and needed emergency surgery on both arms. Adly's daughter was treated in the emergency room for minor injuries.
