The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission sued three defendants Tuesday in New Jersey District Court. The defendants are accused of engaging in a fraudulent offering of block chain terminal (or BCT) tokens, causing investors to lose approximately $30 million. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 2:21-cv-12542, Securities And Exchange Commission v. Hamid et al.
