Lawyers are feeling upbeat over June’s resumption of in-person trials in New Jersey’s state and federal courts.

A handful of criminal trials have gotten underway in the Superior Court of New Jersey and in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey in the past week. Those proceedings represent the first jury trials since COVID-19 began to severely curtail court proceedings 15 months ago.
