A virtual beer and spirit tasting on May 4 took the place of the 7th annual Captain's Table, a fund-raising event that was postponed along with host event Atlantic City Boat Show. The partner charities organized the fundraiser with the support of Cooper Levenson, Little Water Distillery, Hidden Sands Brewing Company, Pinelands Brewing Company, Three 3's Brewing, and 11th Floor Creative Group. The same day, Let Us Eat Please, Inc. presented a check for the $40,000 raised throughout the pandemic to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey, Southern Branch. (Let Us Eat Please Inc. was launched by the law firm's late founding partner  James L. Cooper). Starting with just one school district, the Let Us Eat Please program has expanded each year to include additional area districts. Every two weeks over the course of summer, families, identified by the school as needing assistance, receive a 30-pound box of groceries. The community food bank has been helping families in the state for 45 years, and provides meals through its network of community partners, including pantries, soup kitchens, emergency shelters, mobile pantries, and child and senior feeding programs.
