Saiber added Thomas McCormick as a partner in the gaming law practice in Florham Park. The firm said McCormick has over 30 years’ experience in the gaming industry. He previously practiced at Fox Rothschild and Kent/McBride, spent 20 years as general counsel for a gaming equipment manufacturer, and worked in the legal departments of Harrah’s Casino Hotel and The Claridge Casino Hotel in Atlantic City. He advises his clients on domestic and international matters, including entity and individual licensing, regulatory violations and disciplinary counseling, distribution agreement negotiation, intellectual property license agreements and settlement agreements relating to commercial disputes involving third-party vendors. McCormick is “an accomplished gaming lawyer whose leadership and experience will help strengthen our practice,” said Jeremy Kleiman, chair of Saiber’s gaming law practice, in a statement. “The addition … reaffirms our commitment to providing outstanding legal services to our clients, and underscores our growing practice.”
