Pashman Stein Walder Hayden in Hackensack brought on  Lisa M. Buckley as a partner and chair of the intellectual property practice. She previously was with  Pryor Cashman LLP in Manhattan for more than 20 years. Pashman Stein managing partner Mike Stein said in a statement that Buckley "is a strong advocate for companies and individuals, with a well-earned reputation for her IP counsel to clients and her many litigation successes. Her arrival significantly strengthens the firm's full-service capabilities, and our clients across industries will benefit from Lisa's intellectual property experience." She handles copyright, trademark and trade secrets matters for startups, corporations and individuals, and she is regularly involved in mergers and acquisitions due diligence related to valuation of IP rights. She represents industries including digital media, software, fashion, cosmetics, apparel and music in federal and state courts around the country, the firm said. Buckley said in a statement: "I was drawn to Pashman Stein and its reputation as a litigation powerhouse. My practice fits well in Pashman Stein's culture and I look forward to building the IP practice where there is a need and a market to be serviced." Buckley received her J.D. from Rutgers Law School in 1989 and her B.A. from William Paterson College in 1985. Upon law school graduation, she clerked for New Jersey Supreme Court Associate Justice Gary S. Stein.
