Hall Booth Smith expanded in New Jersey and New York with the addition of attorneys from Norton, Murphy, Sheehy & Corrubia as it looks to strengthen its insurance and liability defense services, according to a firm announcement. Seven attorneys joined Hall Booth Smith in its Saddle Brook office. “We are thrilled to combine our team with highly talented colleagues of the Hall Booth Smith family as we work together to provide the very best service to insurers and insureds in the New York and New Jersey area,” said Norton, who co-founded Norton Murphy, in a statement.

Harry D. Norton Jr. is joining HBS as a partner. He has more than 40 years of experience defending insurers and insureds in personal injury claims, premises liability, construction, governmental liability and other disputes. He handles arbitration and mediation, and he serves as a municipal court judge and as a panel attorney for municipal insurance and liability funds. Norton earned a J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law, and a B.A. from Lafayette College.
