Greenberg Traurig shareholder Joel Max Eads has entered an appearance for battery developer Blue Horizon Innovations and its CEO David L. Frank in a $20 million lawsuit filed by the company's former VP of Sales Channel Development. The action was filed Sept. 9 in New Jersey District Court by Arleo & Donohue on behalf of R. Daniel Gentles, who contends that he is owed commissions based on his raising of investment capital. Gentles, who claims to hold 100,000 membership shares in Blue Horizon, also seeks a court order blocking the company from moving forward with a possible SPAC merger. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Claire C. Cecchi, is 2:21-cv-16420, Gentles v. Blue Horizon Innovations LLC et al.
