Visitors to federal courts in the District of New Jersey will be denied entry if they can’t provide proof of a COVID-19 vaccination or a negative coronavirus test less than 72 hours old, effective Sept. 20.

The court announced the policy Tuesday in its standing order 2021-08. The District of New Jersey follows a handful of state and federal courts in jurisdictions such as California, New York, Texas and Maryland that have instituted vaccine policies.
