Three months after winning an eminent domain case at the U.S. Supreme Court, backers of the PennEast Pipeline have folded their tent and called off the project.
Difficulties in obtaining environmental approvals for the New Jersey portion of the project prompted the decision to cease development, Patricia Kornick, a spokeswoman for PennEast, said.
