Locke Lord filed a patent infringement lawsuit Monday in New Jersey District Court on behalf of Curia IP Holdings. The complaint targets Salix Pharmaceuticals and other defendants over their antibiotic Xifaxan, which Curia contends contains its patented mixture rifaximin. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 2:21-cv-19293, Curia IP Holdings, LLC v. Salix Pharmaceuticals Ltd. et al.
