Costa Named Co-Chair of Stevens & Lee's Real Estate Department Christopher K. Costa

Stevens & Lee named Christopher K. Costa co-chair of the firm's real estate department, joining co-chair Steven D. Buck. Costa is a partner in the firm's Princeton office representing clients in all aspects of commercial real estate law, including land use, transactions, commercial banking, condominium conversions, leasing and landlord-tenant law. He has obtained development approvals for clients on industrial and warehouse projects, pharmaceutical and research facilities, residential subdivisions, apartment complexes and mixed-use projects. He also represents multiple religious institutions in land use litigation in federal court under the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act (RLUIPA); and handles industrial use and logistics, assisting clients with industrial property purchases, use variance approvals for warehouses and strategic site zoning conversions. He speaks on topics including land use, discrimination, leasing and other real estate issues. He is an associate counsel of the New Jersey Planning Officials, a member of the New Jersey State and Mercer County bar associations, and a member of the Cornell Real Estate Council. He has been trained in mediation of complex land use disputes by the Consensus Building Institute. Costa holds a J.D. from Villanova University School of Law and a B.S. from Cornell University.
