TIAA, a nonprofit financial planning organization for employees primarily in the academic world, filed a trade secret lawsuit Friday in New Jersey District Court. The complaint targets former TIAA wealth advisors Athishay Gangadharan and Howard Reizun for allegedly misappropriating trade secrets in service of a competing business venture. The lawsuit was filed by Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart; and Coss & Momjian. Lawyers have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 2:21-cv-19459, Teachers Insurance And Annuity Association Of America et al v. Gangadharan et al.
