Mariel J. Giletto, formerly a partner and corporate department chair at Parker McCay, joined Flaster Greenberg in Cherry Hill as a partner in the business and corporate department. "Mariel's excellent reputation in the business community and extensive experience with handling complex business transactions makes her an outstanding addition to the firm," said Steven S. Poulathas, co-managing partner at Flaster Greenberg, in a statement. "Our clients, who include high net-worth families, businesses and entrepreneurs, will find Mariel to be a tremendous asset." Giletto works alongside business owners and C-level executives to develop efficient strategies to protect, prevent, and solve the challenges many businesses encounter, the firm said, and she represents and advises companies through all aspects of the business life cycle. She represents clients in industries including, manufacturing, life sciences, banking, academia and gaming. Giletto said in a statement that Flaster is "a business firm with an entrepreneurial spirit" and has "a dynamic and talented group of lawyers whose practices really compliment mine. I look forward to working collaboratively with others in the corporate department and firm wide to further expand the firm's robust corporate practice." Licensed in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Giletto received her J.D. from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law in 2006 and her B.S. from Rutgers University in 2002. She is a longtime member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and previously clerked for Atlantic County Superior Court Judge Steven P. Perskie. She also is a member of the Burlington County Regional Chamber of Commerce.
