Anthony Gruppuso Joins Brown Moskowitz & Kallen as Litigation Partner Anthony M. Gruppuso

Anthony M. Gruppuso joined the litigation team as a partner at Brown Moskowitz & Kallen in Summit. Gruppuso will focus on dispute resolution and litigation for professional services firms, trustees, medical practices, limited liability company members, manufacturers and distributors, and high-net-worth individuals. Gruppuso has spent more than two decades as a civil litigator in state and federal courts, practicing at large law firms and at his own private practice. He was among the senior attorneys representing the SIPA trustee for the estate of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC in an adversary proceeding to avoid transfers and recover approximately $825 million from two foreign feeder funds, according to the firm's release. Stuart M. Brown, firm managing partner, said in a statement that Gruppuso "brings a multi-faceted legal skill set that is only attained through highly diverse representations." Gruppuso said in a statement: "Brown Moskowitz & Kallen is truly all-encompassing in the business law realm, so joining this team was a natural fit for my client base." He earned his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law, where he was a member of the Seton Hall Law Review. He also holds a B.A. from Seton Hall University.

Samantha Alexander Joins Pashman Stein as Associate

Pashman Stein Walder Hayden announced that Samantha T. Alexander, previously of Orloff, Lowenbach, Stifelman & Siegel, joined as an associate in the corporate and business law practice and commercial real estate practice in Hackensack. She previously served as in-house counsel for a large terminal operator and stevedore. Pashman Stein managing partner Michael S. Stein said in a statement: "We recently expanded our corporate and business law practice, and Samantha further deepens our corporate and commercial real estate bench." She focuses on advising entrepreneurs and emerging growth companies on startup formation and corporate governance, debt and equity financing, developing and implementing business initiatives, corporate reorganizations, and mergers and acquisitions. "I joined the firm because of its dedication to fostering a supportive and collaborative culture, and because of the many exceptional attorneys who have made this firm their home," said Alexander in a statement. Alexander earned her J.D. in 2015 from Rutgers University Law School, where she served as editor-in-chief of the Rutgers Law Record and was a member of the Rutgers Intellectual Property Law Association. She earned her B.A. from New York University in 2010. She clerked for Passaic County Superior Court Judge Rudolph A. Filko. She is admitted in New Jersey and New York, and in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Prince handles commercial and complex litigation, representing clients in a range of industries as well as individuals in state, federal, and appellate courts in New Jersey and New York. Prince handles contract disputes, products liability, fraud, business torts, labor and employment, civil rights, insurance, property damage, construction disputes, and real estate. Prince earned his J.D. from New York Law School and his B.B.A. from Howard University. Prior to joining Archer, Prince was an associate in the litigation department of a national firm. Following law school, Prince served as legal counsel for a consulting firm. Prior to that, he served as legal counsel for an entertainment, marketing, and media organization.
