Florio Perrucci Names New Partner
Florio Perrucci Steinhardt Cappelli Tipton & Taylor promoted Elizabeth H. Marcon, an associate with the firm since 2017, to partnership. Partner and co-chair of the firm's litigation group Christian Perrucci said in a statement that Marcon is "a smart, hard-working and skillful litigator who is a great advocate for the firm's clients." She represents private businesses, public entities, and individuals in commercial litigation, employment, insurance defense, workers' compensation, and plaintiffs personal injury matters. She is active in the community, serving on the board of governors for the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation. She is also a member of the Allentown Symphony Chorus. Marcon is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York.McOmber Firm Adds Associate
McOmber McOmber & Luber welcomed associate Valerie Mayzelshteyn, who will litigate employment and civil litigation matters throughout New Jersey. She is based in Red Bank. The firm said she will represent plaintiffs in employment discrimination, hostile work environment, and sexual harassment cases. Mayzelshteyn previously was employed as a law clerk at the firm and before that clerked for Middlesex County Superior Court Judge Daniel H. Brown in the Family Part. There, she analyzed motions filed by attorneys and pro se litigants and drafted written orders pursuant to the filings. Mayzelshteyn said in a statement: "I am excited to assist the firm in advocating on behalf of their clients. I know that my experiences thus far make me a great fit for taking on this role." Mayzelshteyn received her B.A. from Rutgers University in 2017 and her law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2020. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey.
