Bendit Weinstock of West Orange announced that K. Raja Bhattacharya was named managing partner. The firm handles business litigation, estate litigation and catastrophic personal injury, medical malpractice, and products liability matters on behalf of injured individuals. Bhattacharya started his career at Bendit Weinstock as a law clerk in 2006, became an associate in 2007 and was elevated to partner in 2014. Bhattacharya concentrates on catastrophic personal injury and medical malpractice matters, and is a certified civil trial attorney. He is a member of the New Jersey Supreme Court's Model Civil Jury Charge Committee; is assistant secretary, PAC trustee and DE&I committee co-chair at the New Jersey Association for Justice; and is an active member of the South Asian Bar Association of New Jersey and the Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association of New Jersey. He is a frequent speaker for NJAJ and other associations. Among his recognitions are the New Jersey Commission on Professionalism's "Professional Lawyer of the Year Award" for SABA-NJ and a Law Journal New Leaders of the Bar honor. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and Seton Hall University School of Law.
