Lindabury Announces New Partner Joshua L. Weiner
Lindabury, McCormick, Estabrook & Cooper in Westfield hired Joshua L. Weiner as a partner and co-chair of its labor and employment practice, which also is co-chaired by partner Kathleen M. Connelly. Firm president David Pierce said in a statement: "We are eager for him to apply his notable experience in representing employers in complex proceedings across a variety of industries." Weiner has 15 years of experience representing companies in discrimination, harassment, whistleblower retaliation, wage and hour, defamation and invasion of privacy matters. He also handles corporate disputes with employees over executive compensation, employment contracts and restrictive covenants. In addition, Weiner represents employers and management in labor disputes and negotiations with unions. Weiner said in a statement: "Working in tandem with my colleagues here, we will provide New Jersey employers with exceptional representation in this ever-shifting legal environment." Pashman Stein Builds Family Practice With Massey
Pashman Stein Walder Hayden brought on Amanda J. Massey as an associate in its Bell Works office Holmdel. "Our family law practice appreciates the difficult legal, financial, and emotional dynamics that accompany the dissolution of a client's marriage, and often the family's business," practice chair Tracy Julian said in a statement, adding that Massey "has a keen understanding of family law issues and is similarly dedicated to the high level of service we provide." Massey handles marriage dissolution, child custody and parenting time, establishing or modification of child support and/or spousal support, equitable distribution, and domestic violence. She clerked for Monmouth County Superior Court Judge James J. McGann in the Special Civil and Family parts. During her clerkship, she also assisted Presiding Family Judge Lisa P. Thornton and Judge Kathleen A. Sheedy on various matrimonial matters. Massey earned her J.D. from Widener University and her B.S. from the University of South Carolina, and is admitted to practice in New Jersey.
