A woman who needed multiple operations after slipping in an icy parking lot received a $1.05 million settlement in her Mercer County suit, Ghant v. Longford Landscaping & Excavating, on Sept. 30.

Asya Ghant was on her way to work when she slipped outside her car at her apartment complex, the Mews at Princeton Junction in West Windsor, on Feb. 10, 2017. Snow had fallen two days earlier, and the lot was not treated with salt or sand, said Ghant’s attorney, Tracey Hinson of Hinson Snipes in Princeton.
