A former Pennsylvania attorney was disbarred from practicing in New Jersey last week after he was convicted of stealing approximately $400,000 from an estate to pay for his personal use.

Angelo M. Perrucci Jr., who maintained a law office in Easton, Pennsylvania, was disbarred by the New Jersey Supreme Court on Thursday after he pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania to five counts of felony wire fraud. U.S. District Judge Joseph F. Leeson sentenced Perrucci to three years in prison and ordered him to pay $301,249 in restitution to the family who hired him to manage their late father’s estate, according to disciplinary records.
