Parker McCay announced that Alicia D’Anella joined as counsel in the public schools and education department in Mount Laurel. She started her legal career at Angelini, Viniar and Freedman, representing public entity clients on litigation, personnel issues, ordinance drafting and bill compliance, and later moved to Comegno Law Group, where she served public school clients, according to the announcement and her LinkedIn profile. At Parker McCay, she will represent and advise boards of education; offer professional development training for boards, administrators, and staff; handle litigation; assist with investigations; and attend public meetings, the firm said. She received her law degree from Rutgers Law School-Camden in 2008 and her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in 2002. She is licensed to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

He joined the firm’s education law and municipal law practice groups and previously practiced at Shaw Divorce & Family Law, according to his LinkedIn profile. Before that, he clerked for Judge Arthur L. Zulick of the Monroe County Court of Common Pleas in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, and Somerset County Superior Court Judge Robert A. Ballard Jr. in the Family Part. In 2012, Malchow was elected to the Watchung Board of Education. Malchow received his bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University, his master’s degree from the Rutgers Graduate School of Education, and his J.D. from Penn State Law, where he was elected president of the student bar association and was valedictorian of his class, the firm noted. He is a member of the Somerset County, Union County, New Jersey State and American bar associations.
