Burlington Stores and several of its subsidiaries were hit with an employment class action Friday in New Jersey District Court on behalf of current and former assistant store managers. The court case, brought by Klafter Lesser LLP and Javerbaum Wurgaft Hicks Kahn Wikstrom & Sinins, contends that class members were unlawfully denied overtime pay. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 1:22-cv-00608, Payton-Fernandez v. Burlington Stores Inc. et al.
