Counsel at Lowey Dannenberg on Friday removed a consumer class action against health insurer Aetna to New Jersey District Court. The suit was filed by Offit Kurman and attorney Charles Kannebecker on behalf of plaintiffs covered by non-ERISA governmental health insurance plans who accuse Aetna of violating state anti-subrogation laws by placing liens on personal injury claims. The case is 1:22-cv-00607, Roche v. Aetna Inc. et al.
