Pharmaceutical company Allergan and subsidiary LifeCell Corporation was hit with a product liability lawsuit Thursday in New Jersey District Court. The complaint, filed by Ketterer, Browne & Associates; Nix Patterson LLP; and Cohen & Malad on behalf of Ledda Sellars, contends that the defendants misrepresented risks associated with its animal-based Strattice hernia mesh product. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 2:22-cv-00711, Sellars v. Lifecell Corporation et al.
