Two groups of former federal prosecutors, including some now in Big Law, sent letters to the Senate Judiciary Committee voicing support for longtime public defender Arianna Freeman’s nomination to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Freeman has been a managing attorney with the Federal Community Defender’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania since 2009, and is the latest example of President Joe Biden’s push to nominate individuals with public defender backgrounds to the bench.
