The law office concept might (still) be undergoing a pandemic-driven revolution, but law firms focused on strategic planning, especially talent acquisition and development, are proving themselves willing to make the sort of space commitments that COVID-19 has been calling into question.

"We've come to the conclusion that the office, all in all, is a really important place," said Lowenstein Sandler managing partner Gary Wingens, whose Roseland-based firm last year extended its New York lease, and expanded to about 125,000 square feet from 100,000 square feet, at its Midtown Manhattan office. The firm is expanding its Utah space as well.
