A former student will be able to proceed in a lawsuit against Stockton University for allegations that the school failed to accommodate his mental health disability, a New Jersey Appellate Division panel ruled Friday.

The plaintiff, identified by the initials M.M., filed a lawsuit against the university in Atlantic County Civil Court, claiming the school violated the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination when it failed to accommodate his depression, which resulted in him failing a senior synthesis course.
