Legal MalpracticeA Pennsylvania attorney who falsely claimed to be admitted in New Jersey is facing a legal malpractice suit over his alleged misrepresentations to an auto accident victim.
Thomas Fieger Jr. allegedly falsely claimed to be authorized to practice in New Jersey when he was retained by a New Jersey resident, Johnnie Bembry, for representation in an auto accident case, according to the suit filed in Camden County Superior Court Jan. 26 and removed to U.S. District Court in Camden on Friday.
Fieger was with Cherry, Fieger and Cherry of Media, Pennsylvania, doing business as The Cherry Firm, when he was retained, according to the suit.
