A Pennsylvania attorney disbarred last year after pleading guilty to attempted sex offenses involving what he believed to be a 14-year-old girl has also lost his ability to practice in New Jersey.
On Wednesday, the New Jersey Supreme Court disbarred Michael R. Shapiro by consent following his criminal convictions of unlawful sexual contact with a minor and criminal use of a communication facility in Pennsylvania's Bucks County Common Pleas Court.
