Visitors and employees at New Jersey’s three federal courthouses no longer have to wear masks, under a revised standing order on COVID-19 protocols. But a requirement that jurors wear masks still applies under certain circumstances.

The decision to scale back the mask mandate was made in light of Gov. Phil Murphy’s decision to lift the statewide public health emergency on March 7, as well as the end of mandates for masks inside schools and in state government offices, Chief U.S. Judge Freda Wolfson said in the order.
