The case of a New Jersey judge who faces discipline after showing his disdain for an assignment in family court struck a nerve with some family law practitioners.

The Advisory Committee on Judicial Conduct issued a complaint against Camden County Superior Court Judge Michael Kassel on April 19, citing his expressions of unhappiness over the family division assignment, and his professions of ignorance about family law.
