A dump truck driver who suffered spinal injuries in a collision with a street-sweeping machine accepted a $2.75 million settlement in his Middlesex County personal injury suit, Lewis v. Testerman, on April 21.

Jeremie Lewis was driving a dump truck belonging to KD Trucking northbound on Hurffville Road in Deptford on March 15, 2018, when a street sweeper, traveling on the shoulder in the same direction, attempted a U-turn in front of Lewis’ truck, according to Nicholas Leonardis of Stathis and Leonardis in Edison, the plaintiff’s lawyer.
