Lawyers at Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders on Tuesday removed an insurance coverage lawsuit against Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield to New Jersey District Court. The suit, filed by Lawall & Mitchell on behalf of Premier Orthopaedic Associates Of Southern NJ, accuses Anthem of not paying approximately $301,344 for medically necessary services performed by an out-of-network provider. The case is 1:22-cv-02407, Premier Orthopaedic Associates Of Southern NJ, LLC v. Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield et al.
