A lawyer’s new analysis of the New Jersey Supreme Court shows that the justices are unanimous most of the time, but distinctive patterns have emerged for those occasions when the justices are split.

The court was unanimous 76% of the time, according to an analysis of the 29 opinions issued so far in the court’s current term, as well as three cases that were resolved by orders dismissing certification as improvidently granted.
