Occidental Petroleum, a Texas-based petroleum company engaged in hydrocarbon exploration, and Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations have turned to attorney Amanda L. Rauer of Langsam Stevens Silver & Hollaender to defend a pending environmental lawsuit. The action, filed March 17 in New Jersey District Court by Lieberman Blecher & Sinkevich on behalf of Cargille Sons and Cargille-Sacher Laboratories Inc., alleges that defendants are strictly liable for the contamination on plaintiffs' property which arose from an earlier excavation of underground storage tanks. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Madeline Cox Arleo, is 2:22-cv-01515, Cargille Sons et al v. Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations, LLC et al.
