Samsung Electronics, the South Korean device maker, was sued Tuesday in New Jersey District Court. The lawsuit, brought by deLuca Levine LLC on behalf of State Farm Fire & Casualty Co., as subrogee of Christopher Kelly, contends that a defective refrigerator manufactured by Samsung caused substantial fire damages to Kelly's property. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 1:22-cv-03062, State Farm Fire & Casualty Co. v. Samsung Electronics America, Inc.
