Gov. Phil Murphy has appointed Barry Moscowitz to acting director and chief administrative law judge.
Moscowitz has served as an ALJ since 2006 and will now preside over the Office of Administrative Law and report directly to the governor. His appointment comes as a result of the June 1 retirement of acting Director Ellen S. Bass.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
