Goldberg Segalla has added Joseph A. Acosta as a partner in the workers' compensation group in Princeton. Acosta was previously with Capehart Scatchard in Mount Laurel. Acosta defends and counsels insurance carriers, self-insured employers, and third-party administrators in complex workers' compensation matters. He manages claims from inception to resolution, including research and fact investigation, litigation strategy, witness interviews and cross-examinations, and settlement negotiation. Before going into private practice, Acosta clerked for New Jersey Superior Court Judge  Richard J. Geiger. Acosta earned his bachelor's degree from Rutgers University and his J.D. from the Rutgers Law School.

Helmer, Conley & Kasselman announced that Jeffrey Weinstein has joined the firm as of counsel. He had served as a deputy attorney general in the Appellate Section of the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice, and spent the last 20 years in private practice. He will be practicing in Helmer Conley's Trenton office, according to the release.
