A man who suffered neck and back injuries after his vehicle collided with a tractor-trailer received a $1.7 million settlement on June 23 in his Bergen County personal injury suit, Bonnick v. Hegland.

The accident occurred when Michael Bonnick, 60, of Latham, New York, was driving southbound on Teaneck Road in Teaneck on April 23, 2018, and was waiting to make a left turn onto DeGraw Avenue. To his right, in another left turn lane, was a tractor-trailer driven by David Hegland and owned by Maxim Crane Works, according to the suit.
