Cheryl Lagay's Best Advice: 'Have a Thick Skin'
"The best advice that I ever received was from an incredibly successful female partner who advised in an interview that she learned early on in her career to 'have a thick skin.' She will never know how her words impacted me, but any time things get tough (and they do) I think of those four words and often repeat them to myself."
