Chief Justice Stuart Rabner named Francis R. Hodgson Jr. to the post of assignment judge for Ocean County, effective Feb 1.
Hodgson will succeed Marlene Lynch Ford, who is retiring after 24 years on the bench, including seven as assignment judge.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
